Eve Isambourg joins Peace Boat as Ocean & Youth Ambassador

A group of young leaders from Fiji, Palau, Timor-Leste, Seychelles, Mauritius, Singapore and Barbados joined Peace Boat in Stockholm, Sweden, to start the second edition of the Ocean and Climate Youth Ambassador Programme. This programme brings youth leaders from states on the front line of climate change and marine degradation to travel onboard Peace Boat's ship, engaging in capacity building and bringing their message to citizens and government representatives through the voyage. The ENERGY GLOBE Award was founded in 1999 by the Austrian energy pioneer Wolfgang Neumann and is one of today’s most prestigious environmental awards. The goal of the Award is to present successful sustainable projects to a broad audience, for many of our environmental problems already have good, feasible solutions. Projects which conserve and protect our resources or that employ renewable energy can participate. ANPRAS submitted the 'Earth-Mauritius' project and was announced as National Winner for 2018

ANPRAS President honoured with WAELE African Achiever Award

The International Summit on the Role of Women in Peace and Conflict Resolution in Africa was organized and hosted by the WAELE (Women Advancement for Economic and Leadership Empowerment) from 02-04 November 2017 in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. WAELE is present in 46 African countries and the objective is to empower African women to participate fully in economic decision making, peace, conflict resolution and governance of the African continent. On that occasion, Dr Vanessa GB Gowreesunkar represented ANPRAS was conferred the African Achiever Excellence Award for her contribution in research and promotion of women emancipation in Africa
